Ryan Renz has been promoted to vice president and controller at First National Bank and Trust (FNBT).
Renz joined FNBT’s accounting department in 2017 with more than 15 years of banking experience and one year in public accounting. In 2018 he was promoted to assistant vice president and controller. As controller, Renz works closely with the bank’s chief financial officer in preparing month-end financial reports, budget reconciliation and review, as well as regulatory reporting.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in business administration. In 2018, Renz also completed the Graduate School of Banking’s Financial Managers School in Madison, Wisconsin. Renz has served on the board of directors for alumni association at his alma mater and currently serves on its audit committee. He also is a past president and member of the Rotary Club of Indiana-Midday.
Dr. Anthony Drew, O.D., has joined Shopko Optical and will be serving patients living in or near the Beloit area.
Drew specializes in primary eye care and multi-focal contact lens fitting.
“Dr. Drew joins our team with 18 years of eye care experience and loves sharing his passion for eye health with others,” said Russ Steinhorst, Shopko Optical CEO. “He has an excellent way of listening to his patients, addressing any concern they may have, and providing an amazing experience similar to one he had as a child receiving his first pair of glasses.”
Born and raised in Waunakee, Wisconsin, Drew graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and four children, actively volunteering in his local church, and cheering on his favorite team—the Green Bay Packers.
Dr. Cai Yuan has joined the cancer care staff at the Mercyhealth Cancer Center—Rockford.
Her special interests include lung cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, anemia and lymphoma.
Dr. Yuan earned her medical degree at the Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China. She then served her residency at AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida and is fellowship trained in oncology and hematology from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida.
Dr. Nimarta Singh has joined the staff at Javon Bea Hospital—Rockton and Riverside, and Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center—Harvard.
Her special interests include body imaging, women’s health, particularly uterine fibroids and treating pelvic congestion syndrome through gonadal vein embolization.
She earned her medical degree at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. She then served her diagnostic radiology residency at University of Chicago Medicine in Chicago and interventional radiology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital—Harvard Medical School in Boston.
