WHITEWATER, Wis.—The Beloit Turner wrestling squad capped an outstanding regular season with a solid second-place finish as Saturday’s Rock Valley Conference meet.

The Trojans finished with at total of 203 points, while Evansville/Albany took the crown with 228.5. Brodhead-Juda placed seventh, Clinton eighth and Big Foot/Williams Bay placed ninth.

Individual champions for Turner included Andres Beltran (132 pounds), Trey Bivens (152), Drew Ries (195) and Trey Griinke (220).

Placing second were Devon Harbison (120) and Justin Teague (126), while Jayden Held (113) placed third.

Tyler Sireci continued his banner senior campaign with a conference title at 195 pounds.

Mario Mendoza also had a solid showing at 160 pounds, finishing fourth.

Janesville Craig won the meet, while Janesville Parker placed a distant second place.
