BELOIT—Lake Forest outscored Beloit College 20-15 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 69-64 Midwest Conference victory at Flood Arena Saturday afternoon.

The game had been tied at the half, 29-29, and 49-49 after three quarters.

It was the Bucs who broke out first in the fourth, scoring the first seven points as Dani Strejc conveted a 3-pointer and a jumper. Lake Forest cut it ot two before two free throws by Lauren Glaser and another Strejc jumper put Beloit back up by six sith 6:16 remaining.

The Foresters rallied agan, with a pair of free throws giving them a 62-61 lead with under 4 minutes to play.

Lake Forest hit some big shots down the stretch and szealed the game at the free-throw line in the final seconds.

Kelly Loudon scored 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field in the first three quarters, but was held scoreless in the fourth. She also had a team-high nine rebounds. She also tied T’Aira Boyance for steal leader with four. Boyance was 4-for-4 from the field with four assists. Glaser added 12 points, going 7-of-10, and Strejc had 11 points.

UP NEXT: The Bucs will head to St. Norbert College to take on the Green Knights at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
