BELOIT—Thursday’s Rock Valley Conference playoff matchup between the Beloit Turner softball team and Evansville had all of the energy of a regional championship game. It just didn’t have any of the stress.
Of course, with Turner racking up 11 hits, starting pitcher Ryleigh Rose tossing five shutout innings and the Blue Devils committing six errors, it was hard for any drama to manufacture.
