Beloit Memorial hockey snaps losing streak with 7-2 win over Viroqua

The Thunder made it a tie game later in the first period, and late into a defensive second period a second goal from Viroqua gave them a 2-1 lead.

But from then on, it was all Beloit. Sophomore Jayden Piccione tied it up on goal assisted by Max Allen about two minutes later. Senior Logan Braasch gave the Knights the lead for good with a goal assisted by Cole Rowald.

Four more goals from Beloit turned the game into a rout as junior Nathan Anastasi, Allen, and junior Ethan Hale all contributed scoring while Fiebig knocked in his second goal of the night.

The Knights’ defense was just as stout as senior Jameson Flanagan made 12 saves.
