Cards' Dix on All-RVC First Team

BRODHEAD, Wis. - A freshman was the lone local representative on the All-Rock Valley Conference volleyball First Team..

Brodhead's Abbie Dix got her career off to a banner start when she was named to the first team after the the conclusion of a terrific season as a middle hitter.

Dix was a significant part of the Cardinals' outstanding season, which ended in the WIAA Division 4 sectional semifinals in a five-game marathon loss to River Ridge.

Dix's teammates Alexis Kammerer, also a freshman, and senior Katie Goecks were named to the second team.

Also making the second team here Big Foot's Lindsay Paulsen and Lahni Palmer.

Earning honorable mention was Big Foot's Morgan Rego and Greer Lettenberger, Brodhead's Catherine Speckman, and Grace Farrell and Addy Ciochon from Clinton.

Turner's Olivia Tinder and A'Blesin Wilson also earned honorable mention.
