BELOIT - The Beloit Snappers are hoping that pressing the reset button will help in their effort to take a game from visiting Clinton.
The Snappers were trailing the LumberKings 3-0 in the top of the second inning when the game was suspended due to rain.
The game will be finished on Thursday beginning at 5 p.m., with a seven-inning game to follow.
It was a rough first inning for the Snappers, as starting pitcher Bryce Conley allowed three runs, two of them coming on a home run by Sean Reynolds.
The Snappers have lost the first three games of the five-game series and have scored just two runs in the first three-plus games.
When the game resumes Thursday, Ricardo Cespedes will be at the plate with a 2-2 count, nobody on and nobody out in the top of the second.
