DELAFIELD, Wis. - Beloit Memorial's boys hockey team trailed only 1-0 after the first period, but Kettle Moraine scored two goals in each of the final two periods for a 5-0 WIAA second-round Secional 7 victory at Nagawaukee Ice Arena.

"I could not have asked for more from anyone," Beloit head coach Kurt Buchs said. "KMMO (Kettle Moraine/Mukwonago/Oconomowoc) is a very good team and we have nothing to be ashamed about."

Buchs said the Purple Knights got a great game from goalie Aidan Wright, who finished with 57 saves, including 25 in the first period alone.

"Aidan played the game of his life and gave us every opportunity to be successful," Buchs said.

Kettle Moraine's Justin Rauser scored the only goal of the first period at the 10:57 mark. He scored the winners' final goal in the third period.

Beloit finished the season 5-17.

Kettle Moraine (16-4-4) advances to play at the Marquette Hilltopps tonight.

In the other Sectional 7 matchup, the Janesville Bluebirds are at the Waukesha Wings.
