SOUTH BELOIT - The South Beloit girls basketball team notched its second win of the season Wednesday night, and they left no doubt as to the outcome.

The SoBos defeated visiting Mooseheart 51-17 to improve to 2-14 on the season.

South Beloit wasted little time establishing their home turf, taking a 14-4 lead after the first quarter.

They upped the advantage to 27-14 at halftime and scored 20 points in the third quarter alone to put the game away.

The SoBos were led by Madison Pasiecznik, who scored 12 points. Kristina Counts added nine and Abigail Castor and Madalyn Brooks each put in six points.

Eight of the nine players on the roster cracked the scorebook for the SoBos, while nobody for Mooseheart had over six points.

The SoBos will be back in action Monday evening when they host Westminster Christian at 6 p.m.
