Son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, Godfather, friend, stepson and cat-daddy. Born in Beloit, attended Brother Dutton, Son-shine Preschool, Todd, McNeal and schools in S. Pasadena, CA. Graduated from Cedarburg High School, WI, was a hard worker in the restaurant business for years and worked in maintenance in family rentals. For the last seven years, was a caregiver for his grandparents in Whitewater. Cliff died in Feb. 2016 and Irene died on Rob's birthday in 2018. He was also a certified respite worker for his nephews and was instrumental in helping raise his nephew Malachi. He was an avid gamer, car enthusiast, crossword puzzle whiz, a creative inventor and customizer, and a collector of Star Wars and Hot Wheels.
Born to Bonnie Lynn Kennedy and Ralph Lee Tlachac. Survived by parents and stepfather Charles Paul Osthelder. Greatly missed by sister Anna Hope Tlachac, her husband Mark Milner and their children Malachi, Azriel and Ezekiel. Leaves maternal grandmothers Irmgard Kennedy-Jahn and Joan Osthelder, aunts and uncles Charlotte Adele Tlachac, Michael and Karen Kennedy, Sarah and Steve Galbari and Bob Osthelder. Cousins Steven Kennedy, Adon Brown, Peggy Osthelder, Robert Osthelder Jr. and Matt Osthelder will cherish his memory. He rescued a cranky cat "Borkchop" and earned her devotion.
Like the tree to be dedicated in his honor on Nov. 24th, Rob cast a long and empathetic shadow caring for family members in their time of need. Please join us at 2 p.m. in the N.W. corner of Horace White Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to local animal shelters or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
