Etoil Quince, age 90, passed away on June 29, 2019 at the Beloit Memorial Hospital.
Etoil was born on November 2, 1928 in Taylorville, Mississippi, the daughter of Andrew and Birdie (Crosby) Moffett. Etoil married William Quince on January 5, 1946. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1986.
Etoil was a member for many years at New Zion Baptist Church. Etoil enjoyed cooking, watching TV and was a wonderful mother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Etoil is survived by her 3 children, Charles (Dianna) Quince, Linda (Demetrius) Smith and Joey Quince; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers, John Payton Jr. and Larry Payton both of Mississippi and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Etoil was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William; two children, LJ Quince in 2002 and George Quince Sr. in 2006 and 7 siblings, Leroy Moffett, Clifton Payton, Willie Payton, Otis Payton, Curtis Payton, Dorothy Payton and Versie May Wiley.
Funeral services will be held at the Family Worship Center, 1020 Cranston Road in Beloit on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 2 PM. A visitation will also be held at the church on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will conclude at Eastlawn Cemetery.
