Lindsey Rebecca Viramontes, 23, of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Rockford, Illinois.
The former Lindsey Smith was born on December 9, 1994 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Kimberly Ruth Smith. In 2012 she graduated from Hononegah High School in Rockton, Illinois and attended Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois. Lindsey married Mario Viramontes II on July 29, 2017 in Beloit, Wisconsin and gave birth to their son Mario III on December 20, 2017.
Lindsey was most recently employed at Woodfire Brick Oven Pizza in Rockford, Illinois. She previously was employed at Noodles & Company and Clara Bo's in Beloit, and Giovonni's in Rockford. She will fondly be remembered as a women who was strong, bold, sassy, full of life, and was everyone's best friend. Lindsey was known for her love of art and her creativity. She expressed that art in the form of tattoos and piercings. Lindsey also had a love for music and enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her husband, son, family, and friends.
Lindsey is survived by her husband, Mario Viramontes II; son, Mario Viramontes III; mother, Kimberly (Ken Anderson) Muller; brother, Jordan "Ord" Smith; maternal grandparents, Kenley R. and Patricia A. (Nickel) Muller; mother and father in-law, Mario and Mercedes (Mexquitic) Viramontes, along with many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Ruth (Pfeiffer) Nickel.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m, Friday, September 14, 2018 at Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home, 424 Prospect Street, Beloit, Wisconsin 53511. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Committal at Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit will follow the service.
