ROCKFORD—The Discovery Center Museum is hosting a “Spooky Science” event on Oct. 29. Guests can choose from three sessions set for 9:30 a.m.—noon, 1—4 p.m. or 6—9 p.m.

Spooky Science invites families to come in costume and concoct gooey globs of slime, launch monsters, partake in a witch pitch, take part in a scavenger hunt, collect non-edible treats, and more.

Admission includes all activities and is $10 per person for the general public; free for members and children ages 1 and younger. Parking is free at 711 N. Main Street. Advance reservations required.
