SOUTH BELOIT—A South Beloit man is being accused of yelling racial slurs at a family and resisting arrest, according to South Beloit police reports.
Bradley Gummow, 43, faces three counts of hate crimes, making a false 911 call and resisting arrest, according to a news release from the South Beloit Police Department.
Police received a report at 6:38 p.m. on Saturday that a man was yelling racial slurs and making threatening gestures to a woman and two children in the 300 block of Perry Avenue.
Gummow was identifies as the suspect and was found at a residence on Burr Oak. He did not comply with police requests that he come out of the residence and police then forced entry. He then was taken to the Winnebago County Jail.
