JANESVILLE—A Beloit man who allegedly choked a 13-year-old child following a dispute after another person refused to cook drugs with him faces multiple charges, according to a Rock County Circuit Court criminal complaint.

Police responded at around 6 p.m. on Sept. 30 to a home in the 1700 block of Wisconsin Avenue and learned that Depronce A. Burnett, 37, became upset after a person refused to make crack cocaine with him. He allegedly choked a 13-year-old girl before officers arrived.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 62.9 grams of cocaine, 21.3 grams of methamphetamine, 14.8 grams of ecstasy and 13.6 grams of heroin.

Burnett is charged with physical abuse of a child, strangulation and suffocation, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver heroin.
