BELOIT—A Beloit man who allegedly threatened a Beloit police officer during an arrest now faces charges, according to a Rock County Circuit Court criminal complaint.

Officers responded on Sept. 15 to a gas station in the 1900 block of Shopiere Road to a report of an unwanted person on the premises who allegedly spit on customers.

Police arrested Alexander E. Eisenberg, 33, at the scene. During his arrest, Eisenberg allegedly kicked an officer and then broke a cabinet door in the booking room of the Beloit Police Department. The officer said Eisenberg threatened to fight him “one on one” and that he “wished he could get” another officer’s handgun, the complaint said.

He is charged with threat to law enforcement, resisting an officer, disorderly conduct, felony bail jumping and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
