Police seek two more armed robbery suspects

BELOIT - Beloit police have arrested one man and are seeking two additional suspects wanted in connection with an attempted armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver early Tuesday morning, according to command staff.

Officers responded at around 2:30 a.m. to the 1000 block of Sixth Street. The driver told police three suspects attempted to rob him while armed with guns. The driver was able to escape unharmed without the suspects taking anything from him, police said.

Malik S. Mims, 17, was arrested on the possible charge of armed robbery shortly after the incident was reported near where the alleged robbery occurred, according to police. The department has not provided suspect descriptions of the other two individuals wanted in the case.
