Janesville man may face burglary, theft charges

JANESVILLE - A Janesville man was arrested this morning and faces possible charges of burglary and theft.

Hunter A. Jass, 19, will possibly face three counts of burglary, three counts of theft and resisting an officer, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department.

Janesville police were called to the 100 block of North Franklin Street at about 1:55 a.m. for a reported burglary. Jass was spotted and fled on foot. He was taken into custody near the corner of East Centerway Street and North Jackson Street. He was found with several items that didn't belong to him, according to the release. Three apartments had been burglarized on North Franklin Street, according to the release.
