Crews respond to small fire in Beloit

Beloit Fire Department crews responded to a residential fire in the 1900 block of Jackson Street at 6:45 a.m. Sunday.

A small electrical fire was discovered in an attic space. Damage to the home and its contents is estimated at $32,000.

No injuries were reported. The two residents of the home have been displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
