ROSCOE - One motorist was injured following a crash with a semi truck and another vehicle on Interstate 39/90 on Monday, according to the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Protection District.
The crash occurred at around 5:26 p.m. on Monday near mile marker 5 3/4 and rescue crews on scene found a heavily-damaged red SUV pinned under the rear of the semi truck, according to a department Facebook post.
The driver of the SUV was extricated and transported to a Rockford area hospital. The driver of the semi and driver of the third vehicle involved in the crash were not injured.
South Beloit and Rockton fire departments assisted at the scene.
