Drill planned at Rock Valley College

An active shooter drill is planned at Rock Valley College on Wednesday.

The exercise will begin at 10:15 a.m. in the Health Sciences Center on the main campus. It will involve a large police presence on campus, simulated gunfire and simulated injuries.

As part of the active shooter drill, a mass notification will be sent out through the college's notification system. Anyone with questions should call 815-921-4357.
