Police arrest McNeel student after incident

BELOIT - An incident at McNeel Middle School prompted Beloit police to arrest a student, according to the department's daily media report.

The incident was reported at 11:56 a.m. Wednesday at the school, with police arresting the student on possible charges of obstruction of justice, destruction/damage of property and disorderly conduct. The student was released to a parent and the case was referred to the juvenile court system in Rock County, according to Communications Director Sarah Millard.
