Police locate shells at shots fired report

BELOIT - Beloit police investigated a report of gunfire at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Brooks Street.

The reporting person said they heard three to four shots. Police located three spent shell casings in the area. No suspects have been identified and police have found no witnesses who reported seeing anyone leaving the area at the time of the incident, according to Beloit Police Lt. Andre Sayles.
