Beloit Girl Scouts to hold vigil, invite public

BELOIT - The Girl Scout troops in Beloit will hold a vigil in honor of the Girl Scours who died Saturday Nov. 3 in Chippewa Falls, according to local leader Janel Tannahill.

Troops will gather at the pavilion at 3 p.m. at Riverside Park on Saturday. Any past or present girl scouts are welcome along with the public. Local troops will be collecting non-perishable food items along with a park clean up as part of a community service project, Tannahill said.
