Man could face OWI after hitting parked car

BELOIT - Luis F. Garduno, 42, of Beloit faces a possible charge of driving while intoxicated causing injury after he reportedly struck a parked car at Wisconsin Avenue and Chapin Street at 1:25 a.m. Sunday.

He struck the vehicle so forcefully that it impacted two other parked vehicles, according to Beloit police.

One person riding as a passengers with Garduno was injured in the crash. She had a broken jaw and a throat laceration, and was transferred to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison for treatment, according to Beloit Police Sgt. Matthew Donovan.
