Humane Society director resigns

JANESVILLE - The Board of Directors of the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin has accepted the resignation of Executive Director Brett Frazier, who has accepted the position of Administrator for Winnebago County Animal Services in northern Illinois.

Brad Yarmark, president of the board of directors for the humane society said Frazier has done an outstanding job over the past five years. He and the talented staff have diligently guided the organization with successful approaches to increase adoptions, reduce euthanasia and cost effectively provide humane stray holding services for all of the communities served by the Humane Society.

Frazier will remain with the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin for a period of time to assist with making a smooth transition to a new Executive Director.

A search for a new executive director will commence in the very near future, Yarmark said.
