Complaint: Man, teen met on 'Grindr'

TOWN OF BELOIT - A Town of Beloit man has been charged after allegedly having sexual contact with a young boy on Feb. 24, according to a Rock County criminal complaint.

Noel Y. P. Lavariega, 34, is charged with sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age after allegedly making contact with a 15-year-old teen boy over "Grindr," a social media dating platform, according to the complaint.

Lavariega admitted to meeting the boy for sex when questioned by police on March 8, the complaint said. Lavariega reportedly took the teen to his residence in the Town of Beloit.
