MADISON - Three Rockford, Ill. men were sentenced in Federal Court in Madison for possession of cocaine.
Samuel Robles, 28, was sentenced to 11 years in prison; Saul Robles, 24, was sentenced to 10 years and Daniel Herrera, 19, was sentenced to five years, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Wisconsin.
U.S. District Judge William M. Conley sentenced the three men for possession of 500 grams or more of cocaine with intent to deliver.
The defendants pleaded guilty on Aug. 29. Saul Robles also pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm during a drug trafficking offense. Each prison term will be followed by four years of supervised release.
On May 5, federal agents conducted a controlled purchase of cocaine from all three individuals in Beloit.
Two Kilograms of cocaine was seized from Herrera's vehicle and a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol was found in Saul Robles' waistband.
