Orfordville man is a Hometown Hero

ORFORDVILLE - In October, the Orfordville Modern Woodman Youth Group presented the Hometown Hero award to Orfordville resident Alan Morris.

Morris received a $50 gift certificate to a local business and was asked to choose a local organization that would receive a $50 donation in his name. Morris chose the Parkview Athletic Department to receive the donation and also contributed $200 more to the department to be used to help pay athletic fees for students who may not have to means to pay to participate in athletics.

The award was presented by Amber and CJ Bennet, advisors for the local chapter of the Modern Woodman Youth Group.
