JANESVILLE - The Rock County Historical Society (RCHS) has created a new competition for exterior holiday lighting and décor. Individuals and businesses are invited to show their spirit and creativity by helping to beautify the outside of the Lincoln-Tallman House this holiday season.

Visitors will get a chance to cast a vote and the winner will be announced on Jan. 2, 2020. All participants will be recognized on signage during the holiday tour season running from Nov. 29 to Dec. 30. All exterior decorations must be lit. Decorations must be in place by noon on Nov. 29. Reserve a spot by visiting http://www.rchs.us/holiday-decorations/.

There is no cost to participate in the exterior lighting competition. For questions or more information, email Tim Maahs at tmaahs@rchs.us or call 608-756-4509, ext. 301.
