Call for chorus members for Faure's Requiem

BELOIT - The public is invited to join the Beloit College and Community Choir and perform with the Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Faure's Requiem at Eaton Chapel on the Beloit College campus at 2 p.m. on Nov. 10. All who enjoy singing are welcome. There are no auditions.

The choir, under the direction of Christopher Joyner, rehearses from 7-9 p.m. every Monday at the Hendricks Center, 2nd floor choral room, 409 Pleasant St., Beloit. The first rehearsal is Sept. 23.

Joyner is the Director of Choirs at Beloit College. He can be contacted for specific information at joynerc@beloit.edu or call 608-363-2310.

Faure's Requiem is a piece commissioned by the family of the late Anita M. Andrew in her memory and in appreciation for all the support they received from the Beloit community in the past year. There will be a post-concert reception at Pearson Hall.
