Rock River Valley Carvers Show set for Sept. 14

BELOIT - The 14th Annual Rock River Valley Carvers of Wisconsin Carving Show and Sale will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sept. 14 at the Rock County Fairgrounds - Craig Center, 130l Craig Ave., Janesville. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted.

This year's featured carver is Rosie Kautz, who has taken the art of pyrography (wood burning) to an advanced level since retiring seven years ago. Attendees can visit with Kautz and various wood carvers as well as chainsaw carver Zoli Akacsos. There will be classes, demonstrations, vendors, a raffle and people's choice voting.
