Powerful Tools for Caregivers workshop set in Beloit

BELOIT - Powerful Tools for Caregivers, an educational series for family caregivers, will be held from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. on Fridays beginning July 26 to Aug. 30 at Merrill Community Center, 1428 Wisconsin Ave., Beloit.

The program is designed to help family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.

Registration is required. To register or for more information, call 608-757-5472 or visit www.co.rock.wi.us/aging. A $10 fee for the class is suggested. Transportation and respite may be available.

The deadline to register is July 19.
