House of Mercy hosts volunteer open house

JANESVILLE - The House of Mercy Homeless Center, 320 Lincoln St., Janesville, will host a volunteer open house at 5:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. The next open house is July 16.

Guests will enjoy a facility tour, orientation and learn more about what it takes to be a House of Mercy volunteer.

The House of Mercy Homeless Center is a 25-bed homeless facility that provides homeless families with emergency shelter and access to housing as well as job placement and child care resources.

Everyone is encouraged to volunteer. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 608-754-0045.
