The Beloit Rotary Club has recognized Rees Graves, Claire Parsons and Marco Antonio Olivera as Rotary Students of the Week for Beloit Memorial High School.

Rees Graves is the son of Christie Quimby and Gary Graves.

Rees has been a high honor roll student all four years at Beloit Memorial receiving awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement along with receiving the Superintendent Scholars Award. He has received Department Awards in physical education. Rees is a member of the BMHS National Honor Society. While at BMHS, Rees has been involved with the BMHS men's and concert choir and DECA. Athletically, he is a member of the BMHS boys hockey, volleyball and track & field teams. He received the Mike Weiss Award in volleyball.

Outside of BMHS, Rees has volunteered with Kids Against Hunger, Book Shelves for Literacy, the Salvation Army as a bell ringer, trunk or treat, proctoring for Math 24 and College Matters. Rees will be attending Milwaukee School of Engineering to major in Electrical Engineering.

Claire Parsons is the daughter of Sarah and Jerry Parsons.

Claire has been a high honor roll student all four years at Beloit Memorial receiving awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement. She has received the Superintendent Scholars Award, and the Purple Knight Achievement Award. While at BMHS, Claire has been involved with the BMHS choir, Increscent Newspaper earning Editor of the Year, Environmental Club and yearbook. Athletically, she is a member of the BMHS volleyball and soccer teams. She was the team captain of the volleyball team her junior year.

Outside of BMHS, Claire has been involved with Kids Against Hunger and with her church choir and youth group. She volunteers in tutoring at the Beloit Public Library. Claire plans to attend the University of Iowa, however her major is undecided at this time

Marco Antonio Olivera is the son of Gloria Gonzalez and Moises Olivera.

Marco Antonio has been a high honor roll student all four years at Beloit Memorial receiving awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement along with receiving the Superintendent Scholars Award. He is a recipient of the Perfect Attendance Award and the Minority Excellence Award. Marco Antonio is a member of the BMHS National Honor Society. While at BMHS, Marco Antonio has been involved with the BMHS LULAC, Link Crew and Latino Club as vice president. Athletically, he is a member of the BMHS swim, cross country, wrestling and track teams.

Outside of BMHS, Marco Antonio has volunteered with MMA, Kids Against Hunger and the YMCA as a lifeguard. He will be attending a private college to pursue a major in science with an emphasis on pre-physical therapy.
