Roy Chapman Andrews Society to honor Neil Shubin

BELOIT - Acclaimed paleontologist Neil Shubin will receive the 2019 Roy Chapman Andrews Society Distinguished Explorer Award at 4:30 p.m. on April 26 at Wilson Theatre in Mayer Hall on the Beloit College Campus. After the award presentation, Shubin will present his acceptance lecture entitled "Finding Your Inner Fish."

As an American paleontologist, Shubin is one of the most popular science writers and is the author of "Your Inner Fish," chosen by the National Academy of Sciences as the best book of the year 2009.
