RVC student named Coca-Cola Silver Scholar

Rock Valley college student Danielle Brosend has been named a Silver Scholar on Coca-Cola's 2019 Community College Academic Team. Brosend is a senior at Winnebago High School and a sophomore at Rock Valley College as part of the Running Start program. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation sponsors the Coca-Cola Academic Team program by recognizing scholars with $200,000 in scholarships annually.

Students are nominated for the academic team by their college administrators. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership and engagement in college and community service.
