Tyler August has represented the people of the 32nd district since 2010. How many voters have ever seen this mystery elected official over the past 8 years?
Based on per diem reports he spends much of his time in Madison even though the legislature has not been in session since April. His voting record suggests that he doesn't work for the schools, pupils and teachers within his district. One only needs to travel the roads in the 32nd district and it is clear he does not support adequate funding for roads. Those in need of insurance for their healthcare needs have not been served by August.
August has been no friend to our environment and natural resources. Instead he's overturned regulations protecting wetlands, ground and surface water and air quality. August has supported cuts to the state's top economic engine; the UW-Madison. Nearly 900,000 students attend public schools in Wisconsin but August is pushing for 33,000 students to attend private schools costing $580 million over the next two years. He doesn't even stand against the loss of Net Neutrality which will allow the corporate world to have fast access to the information highway while students, small businesses and healthcare facilities are pushed to the side.
If you see Tyler August please notify local authorities to take him off the missing legislator list. In the meantime vote for Katherine Gaulke as you will readily find her working for you in the 32nd district.
