'A town square would be good'

Print Article

The Town of Beloit wants to create an "Urban" district as a business center along Inman Parkway that runs between U.S. 51 and Shopiere Road.

It would be nice if they created a town square on the north side of Inman Parkway where future businesses can develop around it. The town could then create and use this town square park for community events.

A town square will give the town more of a sense of community rather than just a strip of businesses along Inman Parkway.

A town/village hall and community center should be located across the street to the north of the square. A library and post office should also be included around the square.
