Demolition is underway at the former Kerry Ingredients building, 200 W. Grand Ave., to make way for a plan that calls for 54 apartment units with future units to be added on later as part of a Hendricks Commercial Properties (HCP) project. Initially, HCP had hoped to repurpose much of the original building but structural issues were discovered that created the need to demolish and build new.
