Shots fired incident reported at Krueger Park

Beloit police are on the scene of a shots fired incident at Krueger Park tonight, Tuesday, May 20.

The incident occurred around 6 p.m. There was a softball game in progress at the park when two vehicles, one chasing the other, entered a parking lot, according to Beloit Police Capt. Dan Risse. The occupants of one vehicle fired shots at the other vehicle. One of the vehicles hit a parked pickup truck, Risse said.

Police collected several shell casings on the scene.
