Timothy E. McKinley, 37, of Milton, WI, and formerly of Beloit, WI, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Mercy Hospital, Janesville, WI.
He was born July 31, 1976 in Shelby, MS, the son of Tommie Lee and Virginia (Johnson) McKinley. Timothy was a 1994 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. He went on to graduate from Mississippi Valley State University in 1999 and the University of Dayton in 2005. He married Tamuriel Grace-McKinley on February 14, 2001.
Timothy was employed by Sennett Middle School, Madison, WI as the Dean of Students.
He was a Senior Deacon of Master Builders Masonic Lodge #9. Timothy worked countless hours mentoring student and was a teacher in the AVID program. He also spent many years coaching athletes across the country.
Survivors include his three children, Xiomaria, Xahria and Timothy E. McKinley all of Beloit, WI; wife, Tamuriel Grace-McKinley of Beloit, WI; father, Tommie L. McKinley of Rena Lara, MS; brother, Michael (Adria) McKinley of Minneapolis, MN; sisters, LaToya McKinley of Grand Rapids, MI and Aleatra McKinley of Rena Lara, MS; nieces, Neela and Amyia; nephew, Jayceon; and close friend and mentor Dr. Carlton Jenkins.
He is predeceased by his mother, Virginia McKinley.
Funeral service will be 5:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 in the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1151 E. Grand Avenue, Beloit,WI, with Pastor Sherick Anderson officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until the time of service Monday in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
