Thomas M. Lewis, 66, of Milton, WI, died Saturday, October 12, 2013 in his home.
He was born on July 16, 1947 in Burbank, CA, the son of Robert and Margaret (Johnston) Lewis. Thomas graduated from Notre Dame High School and went on to attend Glendale College and Valley College. Thomas was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the United States Army and received the Bronze Star. He married Roxanne Leko on September 9, 1972 in Burbank, CA.
He was the owner of Jay Scott Drugs, the neighborhood pharmacy, in Burbank, CA. Thomas was a member of the BMC organization of Burbank, CA from 1980-1995.
Thomas was a city kid who always wanted to live in the country and he received that chance when they moved to Wisconsin to be closer to his children. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Thomas has an extreme love of music and playing the guitar with his friends on a weekly basis.
Survivors include his wife, Roxanne Lewis of Milton, WI; two children, Kimberly (James) Ward of Beloit, WI and Timothy (Brooke) Lewis of Janesville, WI; four grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner Ward of Beloit, WI, Cash and Parker Lewis of Janesville, WI; two brothers, James (Linda) Lewis of Phoenix, AZ and Dennis Lewis of Santa Barbara, CA; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, daughter, Allison, brother, John, and sister-in-law Betty Lou.
A Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2013 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd. Beloit, WI, with the Very Reverend Paul Arinze officiating.
