‘Brothers in Chains’ brightens holidays for families served by Community Action

Brothers in Chains donated gifts for 385 kids who participate in Community Action programs.

BELOIT — The holidays will be a bit brighter for families served by Community Action, Inc. of Rock and Walworth counties. Brothers in Chains, a motorcycle club based in Janesville, donated gifts for 385 children in Community Action’s Fresh Start, Fatherhood, PATHS and Community Kids Learning Center prorams. The group also donated $1,500 for additional gifts for children in the Transitional Living program, Mentoring program and AWARE in Evansville.

This is the second year Brothers in Chains has donated gifts for Community Action program participants. Altogether, the Brothers’ donations provided toys and other gifts for more than 500 children, from infants to 18-year-olds. Afton Pub, Mike’s Roadhouse of Beloit, Bobblehead’s Bar and Grill of Janesville, Wedge’s of Janesville and The Cove of Milton hosted toy drive donation sites.
