Mirror frame art show opening set for July 10

Nygren Wetland sets prairie party


ROCKFORD, Ill. — A sea of purple and yellow prairie wildflowers will greet guests at Party on the Prairie at the Nygren Wetland Preserve on Saturday, July 11. Horse-drawn wagon rides, wildflower walks and a dinner of locally-grown organic food are some of the attractions at the fundraising event hosted by the Natural Land Institute.
