Handel's 'Messiah' to be presented by Choral Union at Cargill UMC

JANESVILLE - Choral Union will perform Handel's "Messiah" at Cargill United Methodist Church, 2000 Wesley Ave., Janesville, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3. It will be their 20th presentation of the work.

Area soloists will be Marie Severing, soprano; Sarah Leuwerke, alto; Alex Gmeinder, tenor and Evan Bravos, baritone.

A portion of the ticket sales for the performance will be donated to Everyone Cooperating to Help Others (ECHO). Cash and/or food donations by audience members will also be welcomed. Representatives from ECHO will be on hand to answer any questions and help receive donations.
