PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Senior Genesis Dade collected two goals and freshman Midori Tanada had one, but the Beloit College women's soccer team fell at UW-Platteville, 5-3, Saturday afternoon.
The Pioneers scored first, but Dade answered with both goals coming in the first minute of play. Dade made it 2-1 in the 42nd minute.
Three goals during a 10-minute span put UW-P on top 4-2. Courtney Ceuvorst found Tanada for a header goal in the 59th minute to make it 4-3.
The Pioneers wrapped up the scoring in the 89th minute.
The Bucs play Tuesday at North Park.
• MEN'S SOCCER: The Bucs fell to visiting Illinois Institute of Technology, 1-0, at the Strong Complex Friday night. The only score of the game came just before the first half ended when IIT's Oluwaseun Ogunsany beat Beloit goalie Alex Lyon.
Lyon had 10 saves. The Bucs (0-4) host Edgewood College at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
