Season ends for Clinton's boys

DELAFIELD, Wis. - The Clinton boys basketball team saw its season come to a close Tuesday night as they fell to St. John's NW Military Academy 69-53.

James Kelley scored 25 points and Gerald Gittens added 23 to account for the majority of the damage for St. John's.

The Cougars, who trailed 26-19 at halftime, allowed 43 points in the second half. Caleb Gracyalny needed four points to reach 1,000 for his career, and finished the evening with six points to reach the career milestone.

Zach Krause led the Cougars with 13 points, whole Connor Mullooly finished with 12. St. John's moves on to face Racine St. Catherine's Friday night.

• DODGEVILLE 66, BRODHEAD 46: The Cardinals trailed by just six points at 33-27 at hafltime, but Dodgeville held Brodhead to 19 points in the second half to pull away for the win.

Brodhead (7-16) was led by Brekan Day's 20 points, while Parker Johnson added 10 and Justice Tway finished with 11.

Dodgeville will play at Edgerton Friday night.

• LAKE MILLS 89, BIG FOOT 54: The Chiefs were eliminated by Lake Mills after falling behind 46-27 at halftime.

Big Foot (3-20) was led by Logan Eischeid's 19 points, while Heath Dillenbeck finished with 14. Lake Mills advances to play Lakeside Lutheran Friday night.
