Local girls basketball teams found out their WIAA playoff fates at Sunday's seeding meetings.

The Big Foot Chiefs were the day's big winners, as they received the top seed in the Division 3 bracket. The Chiefs will take on the winner of Lake Mills and Kenosha St. Joseph on Feb 23, with all other area games occurring on Feb. 20.

Big Foot is 14-5 overall and 13-2 in the Rock Valley Conference, just one game behind Jefferson with two to play.

In the same side of the bracket, Clinton (seventh seed) will host East Troy, while sixth-seeded Beloit Turner will host 11th seed Racine St. Catherine's. Clinton is 9-11 overall and coming off its best win of the season at McFarland. Both the Cougars and Trojans are 7-9 in conference play.

Brodhead, also in Division 3, earned a nine seed. The Cardinals will travel to Poynette. The Cardinals, 5-10 in RVC play and 8-11 overall, barely missed out on hosting a game.

Division 1 Beloit Memorial, the 18th-seed, will travel to 15th-seed Kenosha Bradford. Parkview, in Division 4, earned a nine seed and will travel to eighth-seeded Waterloo.
