RIPON, Wis. - Beloit College's women's basketball team converted only 2-of-24 shots in the first half, on its way to a 57-38 Midwest Conference loss to Ripon College Wednesday night.

The Buccaneers trailed 18-1 after the first quarter and 26-6 at the half as they shot a measly 8.3 percent.

The Bucs drew within 15 points in the second half, but could come no closer.

Junior Shelby Kline again led the Bucs in scoring with 15 points and also pulled down five rebounds. The Hononegah High School graduate has scored in double digits in six of Beloit's eight games this season.

Beloit (2-6, 1-3) will host Wartburg College (6-0, 2-0) on Saturday at Flood Arena.
